Caffiene

Most caffiene is consumed in amounts via coffee or tea or soft drinks- even energy drinks.  Its considered safeup to 300 mg a day. (Equivalent to 3 cups of coffee a day-not mugs or paper cups). Caffiene is a stimulant that can help your response time as well as a little mood elevation. Consuming more than 300 mg of caffiene a day may give you the "jitters". Larger amounts (500 mg-600mg) may cause anxiety and sleeplessness- even irritability. It has been around a long time that taking in too much caffiene would cause dehydration because Caffiene is a diuretic. But researchers  have found that  is not true- your body adjusts to the amount of caffeine you take in and drinking caffinated beverages would not cause you to need more water. Caffiene can cause withdrawls- may be crabby, muscle aches and possible miserable feeling for a few days.  People that are not used to drinking coffee or caffiene may be sensitive to supplements that have caffiene in them. -information from www.about.com and web MD

Ace contains 180 mg in 2 capsules-which is considered one serving.  And over a period of time I have been able to give up diet cokes/pepsi because I don't crave it- I still occasionally get me a large cappuccino cause LOVE THE TASTE but on those days- I make sure to drink a little more water.
