WHAT IS ACE?

This morning I wanted to go a little deeper with what ACE really is- Yes it is a capsule- but why does it give you the energy? And how does it work? well with the mixture of ingredients- I mean really that is all there is to it. Check it out and do some research on it yourself if you like to see what else you can come up with- I looked up the following ingredients (not the first time I have done this) and these are the benefits and things that come out of each ingredient separately- the information I gathered is off of PURE MATTERS, WIKKIPEDIA, and MINERAL DEFICIENCY webpages and are not my own, however I cannot recall where I got the picture from- definately one of those sites.

Vitamin B-6? Essential vitamin supports many vital body functions, including nervous and immune system function.* Also plays a part in protein and fat metabolism.*Vitamin B-6 is a water-soluble essential vitamin needed by the body for good health.** It can be found in many foods including beans, meat, poultry, fish, some fruits and vegetables and fortified cereals.

Chromium plays a role in the release of energy from cells.**
Chromium supports carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism.**
Chromium helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels already within a normal range.**

Cocoa powder contains several minerals including calcium, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc. All of these minerals are found in greater quantities in cocoa powder than either cocoa butter or cocoa liquor. Cocoa solids also contain 230 mg of caffiene and 2057 mg of theobrime per 100g, which are mostly absent from the other components of the cocoa bean.

Green Tea-

Vanadium is a compound found in tiny amounts in plants and animals. Moreover vanadium is a trace mineral that is present in many foods and may be essential, in small amounts, in the body.
Vanadium supplementation has shown positive effect in peer reviewed studies for the treatment of: Diabetes,Cancer,Heart Disease.

I hope this shines a little more light on the subject for you and if you are interested please visit the tabs at the top of the page to see different sites and things about ACE from myself!

Exercise

I have not always been one to exercise regularly or even encourage others to do so. I mean really I am a mom and a wife and work full time- I have a full schedule!  So to keep myself motivated you know I do take ACE but I also know that his has helped me improve my lifestyle alot. I enjoy working out although not alone. And although my husband is on ACE working out to him is like a bad word at times!

So in looking for more inspiration- I have done some research and I know for a fact when I exercise morning or night I feel better and relax more and able to sleep better. Its mental for me as well as physical- allows me to burn off that stress rather than hold onto it. It allows me to keep things from getting too far and when I am really upset well It helps me push that work out harder. I am going to be completely honest- I have not worked out in a week or so- well because of Vacation Bible School and other things going on. I am thinking a good run before tonights session would not hurt though :)

Here is some research type things I have found.
Remember to stay hydrated- alot of people miss out on that when trying to lose weight- just not aware of how much they are losing- and if feeling weak and super tired- keep in mind calories- but nothing wrong with a replinishing drink or gatorade. Both have electrolytes you need to keep your body where you need it- those super hard exercises in the summers heat really can mess you up- hmmm another reason for switching to mornings!

I hope this inspires you to change it up a bit!

*Exercising early in the morning "jump starts" your metabolism, keeping it elevated for hours, sometimes for up to 24 hours! As a result, you’ll be burning more calories all day long—just because you exercised in the morning.
*Exercising in the morning energizes you for the day—not to mention that gratifying feeling of virtue you have knowing you’ve done something disciplined and good for you. (Much better than a worm!)
Studies have shown that exercise significantly increases mental acuity—a benefit that lasts four to ten hours after your workout ends. Exercising in the a.m. means you get to harness that brainpower, instead of wasting it while you’re snoozing.
*Assuming you make exercise a true priority, it shouldn’t be a major problem to get up 30 to 60 minutes earlier—especially since regular exercise generally means a higher quality of sleep, which in turn means you’ll probably require less sleep. (If getting up 30 to 60 minutes earlier each day seems too daunting, you can ease into it with 10 to 20 minutes at first.)
*When you exercise at about the same time every morning—especially if you wake up regularly at about the same time—you’re regulating your body's endocrine system and circadian rhythms. Your body learns that you do the same thing just about every day, and it begins to prepare for waking and exercise several hours before you actually open your eyes. That’s beneficial because:
Your body’s not “confused” by wildly changing wake-up times, which means waking up is much less painful. (You may even find that you don’t need an alarm clock most days.) Hormones prepare your body for exercise by regulating blood pressure, heart rate, blood flow to muscles, etc.
*Your metabolism, along with all the hormones involved in activity and exercise, begin to elevate while you're sleeping. As a result, you’ll feel more alert, energized, and ready to exercise when you do wake up.
*  Many people find that morning exercise has a tendency to regulate their appetite for the rest of the day. Not only do they eat less (since activity causes the release of endorphins, which in turn diminishes appetite), they also choose healthier portions of healthier foods.  People who consistently exercise find, sometimes to their great surprise, that the appointed time every morning evolves into something they look forward to. Besides the satisfaction of taking care of themselves, they find it’s a great time to plan their day, pray, or just think more clearly—things most of us often don’t get to do otherwise.
* Exercising first thing in the morning is the most foolproof way to ensure that other things don’t overtake your fitness commitment, particularly if you have a hectic family life. (It’s so easy to wimp out in the evening, when we’re tired or faced with such tasks as rustling up dinner and helping with homework.)
* More than 90% of those who exercise consistently have a morning fitness routine. If you want to exercise on a regular basis, the odds are in your favor if you squeeze your workout into the a.m.  Non-morning people can always trick themselves in the a.m.

I hope these facts and ideas are helpful to your continued care on your weightloss journey or even if you are just needing to keep slim and trim!  I will be there one day!
